Managing spectator safety at speed

Motorsport events present unique crowd management challenges. The combination of high-speed vehicles, enthusiastic crowds and a venue layout that brings spectators close to the action demands fencing that is robust, correctly positioned and capable of maintaining its position under sustained crowd pressure throughout the event.

Our team worked with the event organisers to map out the correct fence line configuration, ensuring spectator zones were clearly defined, access gates were positioned for safe crowd flow and the fence installation met the safety requirements of the venue and event permit.

With kilometres of stock on hand at our Osborne Park depot, we had the panels, barriers and accessories on site and installed ahead of the opening gates, giving the event team one less thing to worry about on the day.
